ME: I love to think that there is a DC sensibility…beyond political party affiliation.
JASON: Of course there is. Politics is a lot like a music genre to a middle schooler. They will immerse themselves in it buying every cd, listening to the groups 24 hours a day, buy t-shirts, go to concerts, check websites daily, that band or genre is their LIFE. Then, most mature and realize that it is only one part of their lives. That’s how politics are in DC. Some people will be entirely consumed by them and let political landscape cloud every part of the being, what they read, what they think about, what they talk about. In reality, there are many many other things. DC is the greatest city in the country, and there is way more than politics.
