I’m not sure it’s a secret that I’m a people watcher. I love to observe others and their habits and I think this is why being a communication major was an ideal choice because we often discussed interpersonal habits and patterns. So, for the next few days, I think I’ll document some of the interesting things I see here. They may seem really random to you, but I often live in this sense of wonder at how truly different, odd, meaningful and unique we all are.
Starbucks:
An older (50ish) woman (who clearly had money) with a young girl are in line. When it is her turn she says, “Madeline will have the organic milk, I’ll take an iced coffee with a splash of half and half and a CROAH SONT.” It was very European and I bet she speaks languages and has traveled there extensively. It was interesting at its pretentiousness, but also correct.
ANDY BROCKMANN:
“You know how other people are just girls…she’s a woman. No games, no drama, she just exists beyond that.”
